Dr Vangelis Tsiligiris
Vangelis Tsiligkiris (also known as Tsiligiris) (FHEA, FCMI) is a Principal Lecturer in Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University.
He is an established academic and researcher with 18+ years of experience in UK and European universities.
Vangelis’ research activity is concentrated around two areas: Transnational education, with focus on international student experience, and international higher education business strategy; and on the impact of digital technologies (e.g. Blockchain, AI) on business education.
His research has been published in leading academic journals (3* CABS) and he has conducted high profile research consultancy projects for the British Council, Universities UK, NAFSA, and the Association of Accounting Technicians.
He has acted as higher education policy advisor to the government of Malta, and the National Quality Assurance Agency of Georgia. In 2016 he founded the TNE-Hub, a community of researchers and practitioners in Transnational Education which now has more than 300 members from 25 countries.
He is an advisory board member of Universities UK International TNE group, and the UK NARIC Quality Benchmark.
