What’s next in the Brexit process, will we crash out of the EU and what can we expect from the new Prime Minister are all topics that will be discussed by a panel of experts at an upcoming Brexit Breakfast event hosted by the Centre for Brexit Studies.
The Centre’s Brexit Breakfast events have returned for 2019, offering attendees the opportunity to discuss Brexit and how it will impact them and their industry, as well as the chance to network with other business professionals, and enjoy breakfast and refreshments before starting their working day.
Titled ‘Making Sense of the Brexit Conundrum’, the event will look into and discuss:
- What’s next in the Brexit process
- Will we crash out of the EU? Or will there be another referendum?
- The Tory Leadership contest and what can we expect from the next Prime Minister
Taking place at The Clubhouse at St James’s, St James's Square in London, 8am-10am on Friday 5 July, the event will offer an insightful and interesting discussion with panel members, including Graham Gudgin, Professor Alex de Ruyter, Diana Zimmermann, Vicky Pryce and Ian Henry.
The panel will be hosted by John Mair, former current affairs producer, Journalism lecturer and Visiting Professor at the Centre for Brexit Studies.
Panel members:
Dr Graham Gudgin - Honorary Research Associate at the Centre For Business Research (CBR) in the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge and Chief Economic Advisor at Policy Exchange in London. Graham also co-edits ‘BriefingsforBrexit’, a pro-Brexit academic website run from Cambridge University.
Professor Alex de Ruyter – Director at the Centre for Brexit Studies at Birmingham City University and board member of the Regional Studies Association.
Diana Zimmermann - Journalist and director of the ZDF- Studios in London
Vicky Pryce - Economist and Business Consultant. She currently sits on the Department of Business Innovation and Skills’ panel monitoring the economy.
Ian Henry - Owner and Managing Director of AutoAnalysis and Visiting Professor at the Centre for Brexit Studies.
