Centre for Brexit Studies Senior Fellow Dr Steven McCabe has discussed the latest in Brexit negotiations, after Senior Tories urged ministers to scrap an 'illegal' Brexit rule plan, which ignores legal advice over proposed withdrawal agreement changes.
With Sir Jonathan Jones, the government's most senior lawyer, resigning from his role in light of the bill, Dr McCabe also discussed how this could impact the future of the Brexit process.
The expert also discussed the latest news from the Government that social gatherings of more than six people will be illegal in England from next week. With stricter fines on the agenda, Steven questioned how this will be policed across the UK, and if there will still be a focus on local lockdowns.
