Foundation Years

Our Foundation Years in Business, Law and Social Sciences allow you to undertake an additional year of study to build stronger creative footings and ensure successful progression to your chosen degree. During the year you will work in a lively and energetic environment, and have the freedom to expand your knowledge of practical skills, exploration and development. You will also gain a broad critical understanding of academic writing and emerging theoretical principles.

At Birmingham City School of Law, we believe that a balanced view makes better legal professionals. It’s why we don’t just teach law, we advocate it; and why we don’t just focus on professional practice, but actively break down barriers to social justice and human rights throughout the world.
