Sophie is the Course Lead for Non-Medical Prescribing at BCU and an external examiner at Nottingham Trent University. Sophie joined BCU in July 2021.
Qualifying in 1996 in adult nursing, Sophie previously held the post of lead nurse for in-patient pain services at a hospital in the Southwest of England for 15 years. As a member of the British Pain Society, Sophie has held the post of acute pain special interest group secretary, and continues to champion pain management education within BCU, providing pain related education sessions on both pre-registration and post qualifying courses within HELS.
