Having qualified from University of Central England (now BCU) in 2000, I worked for City Hospital, Birmingham for 13 years. I became an Advanced Practitioner in 2004 as a reporting radiographer. I maintained my clinical expertise by working evening shifts alongside my university work up until October 2013.

Having worked at the university for 9 years I have been involved in a wide variety of modules. Part of my job over the last 4 years has been to develop and instil simulation into the Undergraduate Diagnostic radiography programme.

At the moment I am currently working towards my MSc in Radiography and I hope to complete this by 2015.

I am currently the module coordinator for a number of modules both undergraduate and post graduate.
