Reuben Mount

Reuben is a postgraduate researcher in the School of Media at Birmingham City University and an active member of the BCMCR research clusters; participating in the Game Cultures cluster and forms part of the steering group for the BCMCR Research Events series in 2024.

His core research focuses on the furry fandom and the examination of whether the spaces of the community can be considered “safe spaces”. Other research interests include examinations of furry media texts in relation to the fandom and video game cultural studies.
