This is Future Media
Want to know why we created Future Media? It was in response to university research and digital agency feedback.
Our own university research identified skills gaps among graduates looking to enter and progress in job roles within the digital marketing industry. Key findings were:
- Industry insight: 94 per cent of companies interviewed during the research stated 'Practical Application' of skills was a priority. 47 per cent stated it as a number one priority
- Delivery of 'Real-World' Projects: 69 per cent highlighted the importance of experience in delivering brand or agency led ‘live’ projects
- Study of Emerging Technologies: 94 per cent of companies stated that this was critical to a Master's programme creating graduate applicants for digital roles
Developed with international agency McCann
To help us create the best course content Future Media was developed with international agency McCann, specifically the then Managing Director of McCann Digital, Gray Dudek, and McCann Group Technical Director, Nick Livingstone. Together we devised a program that offers students all of the above and more, providing them with the skills and experience that digital agencies are looking for in graduate job applicants.
Regularly reviewed and refreshed content
The Future Media curriculum and course content is regularly reviewed and debated with an industry advisory panel to ensure it offers Future Media students exposure to key current and emerging technology, media trends, innovation and research as well as practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
