Applicant Taster Days

Working with Children Young People and Families Timetable:

Each Applicant Taster Day has a set timetable for the day you visit:

  • Wednesday 7 February (12:00 - 17:00)
  • Wednesday 28 February (12:00 - 17:00)
  • Wednesday 21 March (12:00 - 17:00)

There will be opportunities for you to get involved in course-based activities and also find out more about University accommodation and services available to students during the day.

14:00 - 14:45 - Managing Transitions Talk - How to support new undergraduates

14:45 - 15:15 - Opportunity for Q&A session with Programme Director 

Taster Sessions for Applicants (45 mins allocated for the placement experience session and 30 mins for exploring Children's Charter):

Session 1: Practice-Led Learning – exploration of placement experience

Session 2: Contemporary Issues: An exploration of the Children’s Charter and priorities 

15:15 - 15:45 Q&A session with Head of Department - What and where next?
