Are you coming to Birmingham this September?

We’re here to let you know everything you can be getting up to over the next four weeks.

We've got all the information you need to get the most out of the start of autumn, as the summer season winds down and University life sparks back up!

Festivals

You may think that when the summer festival season comes to an end in August, you wouldn't see any big events until Christmas time. But Birmingham is no ordinary city! In fact, the first festival of the autumn kicks off on September 1 - the Moseley Folk Festival. Running all weekend, the festival will see sets from Amy McDonald, the Magic Numbers, Jose Gonzalez and Laura Marling.

Two weeks later on September 15-17, we have another music festival arriving, this time in the form of Beyond the Tracks. This Digbeth based rock festival will see Ocean Colour Scene, Maximo Park, The Editors, Orbital and Faithless take to the stage.

On the same weekend (September 16 to be exact), foodies will want to flood Brindleyplace for the annual Chilli Festival. Now in its 7th year, the festival will see a wave of chilli stores popping up, offering mouth tingling dishes from all around the world.

Rounding out September, we have the Birmingham Weekender. The city's biggest arts festival, you'll see dance, music, art and live performance shows pop up all over the place on September 22-24. Plus of course food, just in case a whole chilli festival wasn't enough for you!
