So you’re about to start university, and you’re looking forward to getting stuck in. But there are a few things you should do before you join us that will help free up some valuable time for when you get here.

Once you’ve accepted your unconditional offer, you can start your online enrolment as soon as you receive an invitation from us.

Make sure you know when you can move in to your accommodation and what you need to bring with you.

Set up your finances

During enrolment, we’ll ask you how you’re paying your tuition fees. It’s important to sort your fees payments as soon as possible.

Once you've enrolled, we'll send you your BCU email address and password to access all of our online services.

Look out for your ID card

Your student ID card will be sent in the post to you once you've completed your online enrolment. If we can't send it to you in the post, you'll be sent some information about when and where to collect your student ID card.

Our term dates outline when the majority of teaching takes place for each semester and any assessment weeks during the year.

Check out your timetable

You will be able to access your timetable on the homepage of iCity from September 2023. Your timetable will also include any activities for your course during Welcome Week.

Welcome Week is a jam-packed week of activities for you and other new students to get involved in! It's all aimed at welcoming you to campus, getting you settled and helping you discover more about what's on offer at BCU.

There's also course sessions to get you started on your course.
