Alan Taman
Alan has several decades worth of experience as a health journalist and public relations professional. After starting at the British Medical Journal, he has since gone on to teach at Coventry University and the University of Wolverhampton on public relations and journalism, as well as Birmingham City University on public relations and health. Alan has also worked for eight years as a communications manager for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Alongside this, he also spent several years as a health campaigner for various national organisations, fighting NHS privatisation. Alan has a degree in biochemistry from King's College London.
