Dr Imran Awan, Associate Professor in Criminology has been appointed as a Senior Fellow for the Centre for the Analysis of the Radical Right.
The Centre is focussed upon radical right parties and movements in Europe, the US and beyond, past and present.
The Centre covers cutting-edge and publicly topical issues relating to the radical right; both in the UK (where the Centre is based), and globally.
Dr Imran Awan will be sharing his insights around Islamophobia, Hate Crimes and Extremism. As an independent Government advisor, and someone who regularly advises policy-makers, Dr Awan will be working closely with the Centre to disseminate not only his research but engage with practitioners, the public, and media.
