Design for Public and Third Sector Innovation

The fallacy of 'innovation deserts' in the public and third sectors, though a relatively recent (and politically inspired) phenomenon, is now almost forgotten. Pioneering research in the 90s and early 2000s has exposed the nature and extent of innovation in these sectors, and has gone some way to explaining drivers, outcomes and systems. However, much further research is required and particular opportunities exist in relation to:

  • Design and Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship
  • Creative Innovation Networks.
