Promoting research on safer care: by health professionals, centred on patients

Date: 25 June 2015
Venue: Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences, Seacole Building, City South Campus

The Centre for Health and Social Care Research held its second Safer Care Conference on Thursday 25 June 2015 at Birmingham City University, City South Campus.

Building on the success of the first conference in 2014, this year the conference developed the theme of generating research knowledge for the provision of safer care and colleagues were encouraged to explore methods of acquiring that knowledge. Whether new to research or with some experience, all colleagues were encouraged and had the opportunity to develop ideas.

Morning keynote speakers included: Josh Miller, Hazel Allaway, Luke Breakwell, Laura Fitzgerald and Professor Alison Leary.
