In the beginning, jazz music was heavily influenced by the sounds of Broadway. The music of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Jerome Kern is frequently celebrated by jazz musicians even today, but somewhere along the way, these two musical worlds disconnected.

In his final curtain call at RBC, join senior jazz student and composer Josh Landsburgh and his big band as they re-imagine songs from some of the finest musicals in the last 20 years. Josh Landsburgh presents: Another Opening, Another Show – a modern jazz take on the contemporary musical.
