UK composer/saxophonist, band-leader and educator Julian Arguelles has always spoken with a unique voice and is hugely influential to a new generation of British jazz musicians.

His music has been described as supremely lyrical, with beautiful melodies whilst staying cliche free. Julian’s current quartet, Tetra, brings together the best of Britain’s young, contemporary jazz talent: Kit Downes on piano, Sam Lasserson on bass and James Maddren on drums. For this gig they will be joined by the Conservatoire's very own Percy Pursglove on trumpet, in what will be the final  concert that Jazzlines present in the Adrian Boult Hall.
