NTI PG Event

Drop-in to our informal lunch to find out more about studying a Master’s in the areas of Computer Games, Future Media and the Film Industry. Whether you’re thinking of continuing your previous studies in the discipline to take you to the next level, or you’re looking to specialise in one of our courses after gaining an undergraduate degree in another subject, our staff and current students will be on hand to answer all of your questions.

Our postgraduate courses

Our range of Master’s degrees includes the following Gamer Camp courses that are open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds:

MA Video Game Development

MSc Video Game Development

MSc Video Game Enterprise, Production and Design

You could have an undergraduate degree from an array of areas, from Art, Computer Science or Business.

We also offer the following Media, Film and Marketing based Master’s degrees, which are for applicants with an undergraduate degree in either a creative or a business background:

MA Feature Film Development

MA Film Distribution and Marketing

MSc/MA Future Media

Your undergraduate degree doesn’t need to be in the field of Film or Media.  You may have a degree or experience in a subject such as Business, Management, Advertising, or in a Creative Subject that can be linked to Film.

Who should attend?
  • Current Birmingham City University undergraduate students from any of the disciplines and areas described above – whether you’re currently studying a closely related undergraduate degree, or whether you’re studying in a different faculty, but want to specialise your focus in a new area at Master’s level.
  • Those currently holding an offer for a postgraduate course at the new Technology Institute or from the School of Media in general for September 2018.
  • Those thinking of applying for a postgraduate course in Video Games, Future Media and the Film Business, looking to start in September 2018.
