Inspired Family Day
Inspired Festival

Join us on Saturday 10 June, 11am-4pm, for a free day of family fun at Birmingham City University's City Centre Campus.
Visitors can build their very own city of the future, get creative with writing and metal workshops, find out what it's like to be a television presenter, learn some first aid and climb inside one our training ambulances…
They can immerse themselves in a world of interactive computer graphics, experience virtual reality and be transported around the world via our amazing green screen…
They can learn all about sustainability and celebrate nature by planting seeds, taking our plastics quiz, and joining our School of Art Choir to make banners and jingles.
Oh, and don’t forget our two fantastic robot dogs, Eric and Gizmo.
For families with young children, there is a soft play area, face painting and optical illusions to amuse and occupy.
There is so much to do and we’re looking forward to seeing you all!
Family Day is part of BCU's Inspired Festival - an annual celebration, showcasing the talent and creativity of our arts, design and media students.
Visitors will be among the first to see this year's student creations - including exhibitions in photography, fashion, product design, art, architecture, English and music.
Activities may be subject to change and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Some activities will require booking on arrival. Food and drink will be available but will be an additional cost and not included in your ticket.
