Taylor Zhu

Taylor Zhu is designing a jewellery set with sound theme. The inspirations come from his daily music composing and life. His music composing is currently influenced by Japanese music and dub-step style, and it is not hard to see from his design. The whole collection is made by gilding metal wire and is powder coated to highlight its structure and style.

Sound is quite an important topic in Taylor’s designing career. In this time, combinations between sound and jewellery is wanted and needed. Sound, as one important part of design, can be listened to by viewers with an ipod which is carried on the main objects. Though each person has a different feeling about the same sound, Taylor is going to explain the sound's shape of his own.
