Sport and Exercise
This exciting course explores overarching principles of Sport and Exercise, Physical Activity and Rehabilitation. It will enable you to relate these directly to individuals through the use of a practical learning environment and consideration of key cases. By completing this short course you will learn how you can make a difference and improve the lives of others through evidence-based professional practice.
What You Will Study
You will explore the fundamentals of Physical Education and School Sport in encouraging more physically active lifestyles during this short course. You will also learn about a number of key strands of Sport and Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. For example, during Sport and Exercise Nutrition you will make your own sports drinks, applying the principles of what is required by participants during and Students will engage in a range of practical, lecture and seminar based sessions in the disciplines of Sport & Exercise and Rehabilitation, and utilise an array of scientific equipment to examine sport in a and systematic manner.
N.B. Students MUST bring appropriate sporting clothing (i.e., shorts, trainers, tracksuit, t-shirt). If students wish to pay to swim in local leisure facilities they must bring swimwear with them including a towel.

English language requirements: No formal qualification will be needed, although all classes will be taught in English.
