Module leader for a range of palliative care and communication modules in the Dimensions in Health Care BSc (Hons), Professional Studies in Health and Social Care BSc (Hons) (Online) and Health and Social Care MSc. Debbie delivers symptom management, palliative care and communication skills sessions in a variety of pre- and post- registration programmes.
Debbie coordinates and trains actors for the Communication Skills simulation sessions in the Nursing BSc (Hons) and is on the teaching team of the module Nursing Practice 2.

Debbie is currently undertaking a PhD in Palliative Care at Lancaster University, exploring the assisted dying experience of healthcare professionals in the Netherlands.
She is interested in developing research linked to clinical practice in Palliative Care, students as co-researchers and service user involvement.
