Sherdon Niño Uy

Sherdon is a scholar from the Philippines of the Newton Fund Programme, having worked as a research associate at the Manila Observatory. His work there was on atmospheric science and air quality which involved computer modelling and instrumentation. He started working on small-scale wind turbines as an undergraduate student that later on became wind resource projections. He came to Birmingham City University in order to continue this work and explore wind resource assessment for the urban environment. The expertise here on computational fluid dynamics and built environment will enable him to pursue this study.
