Labyrinths of the past, present and future.

What is Amazing Stories?

Amazing Stories invites you to wander through and wonder at mazes, from the Minotaur and Hansel and Gretel to Pac-Man. ‘aMAZing Stories’ will introduce children, young people and families to labyrinths past and present, taking you on a journey across different cultures and worlds. You will create new worlds of mazes using games, craft materials and on your digital devices.

Amazing Stories is part of the Being Human festival, the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, taking place 12–22 November. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. Find out more about the Being Human Festival.

Your amazing mazes and stories

Share your creations and we may feature them on our website! Take a picture/screenshot or send us the texts of your amazing story/riddle answers. Ask a grownup to submit it for you. Please give your first name or initials so we can credit it your work on our website. Your email address will be deleted once we download your submission and it will not be stored nor used anywhere else.
