Grammy-Award winning musician Stephen Roessner on why you should study at Birmingham City University

Stephen Roessner won best instrumental soloist performance (without orchestra) at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. He is currently a lecturer in audio and music engineering at the University of Rochester and came to visit Birmingham City University to see first hand what our music technology exchange program can offer. Stephen tells us what he discovered about BCU in the video below.

Students on BSc Music Technology have the opportunity to take part in an exchange programme, where we welcome two students from the University of Rochester. This year’s exchange programme has evolved to encompass staff teaching across the two universities. Stephen visited the City Centre campus, along with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
