Last year, our concert was postponed due to Covid. We are now excited and grateful to be able to return to Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for our Christmas concert and share the message of ‘Hope, Live, Love’.
Our unique and captivating gospel musical style not only touches the soul but compels the hands and feet to move in time with the rhythm of the words and the beat of the songs. This will be a wonderful time of enjoyment where family and friends can come together and participate in soulful and rousing songs performed by THGC in our exhilarating gospel style, under the charismatic directorship of Colin Anderson.
We are proud to present our guest artist, the amazing vocalist Monique McKen – BBC Gospel Singer of the Year 2021; the concert will be hosted by Birmingham’s own multi-award winning singer, songwriter and TV presenter Annette B. We also have the privilege of re-connecting with Staffordshire’s preeminent choral outfit, Lichfield Gospel Choir, as we both performed at this year’s Community Spirit event held at Symphony Hall Birmingham, and at the recent Commonwealth Games.
