We are delighted to welcome back Barry Wordsworth to conduct our end-of-year concert, following his thrilling performance of Verdi’s Requiem at the closing concert of our previous hall two years ago.

The programme tonight will start with a new piece by Deputy Head of Composition Michael Wolters, a concerto for 9 saxophones and orchestra, plus ballet repertoire including music from Stravinsky’s thrilling Firebird.
