RBC's Brass Department are delighted to present our annual Symphonic Brass/Brass Band autumn spectacular. It will feature works by Adolphus Hailstork, Errollyn Wallen, Stan Nieuwenhuis, William Walton, a rare performance of Robert Simpson's tour de force for Brass Band Volcano, and the world première of Ultima Thule for tuba octet by Stuart MacRae.
We are also thrilled that this concert will make the début collaboration of RBC's new Youth Band-in-Residence, YB2K, who will perform a solo spot in the concert (including the legendary Sing, Sing, Sing) as well as a side-by-side performance with our own Brass Band.
Please join us in a celebration of LIVE brass performance.
