Paul Dunmall is quite simply one of the finest improvising saxophonists in the world. He has a rare ability to create totally original improvisations whatever the context, and this ability arises from a serious concern for the music and a keen ear for what is happening around in any musical situation.

This is the first in a new monthly series in which Paul showcases great players based in the Midlands to give Birmingham and Conservatoire audiences the opportunity to hear these different groups.

A collaboration with TDE Promotions.
