Royal Birmingham Conservatoire presents 15 months of incredible concerts and events.
Featuring artists such as Sir Lenny Henry, Peter Donohoe, Roderick Williams, Orkest de Ereprijs, Flatpack Film Festival, Julia Donaldson, Jacqueline Wilson, Laura van der Heijden and many more, the festival brings world-class artists to Birmingham to celebrate the opening of the Conservatoire’s new state-of-the-art home.
The season began on Sunday 11 March 2018 with a Royal Gala concert performed by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra, conducted by CBSO’s Music Director, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla.
Not only will the festival see international stars grace the stage, but there will also be a focus on the rising stars and grass roots artists of the local music scene, as per the Conservatoire’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing a hub for performing arts in the city.
