Following their joint concert the previous night at Coventry Cathedral, the NSGSO and the NSGCB will perform separate concerts at 1pm and at 7.30pm.
1pm - The National Scout and Guide Concert Band with Guests the Big Band and Strings Ensemble
With guests the National Scout and Guide Big Band and the National Scout and Guide Strings Ensemble.
Music will include Handel's Royal Fireworks Music, A Life on the Ocean Wave, Sailin’ by Rod Stewart, Under the Sea, A Tribute to Judy Garland and Ellington by Stephen Bulla.
7.30pm - The National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra with Guests the National Scout and Guide Concert Band
Music will include Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov and Tintagel by Arnold Bax.
They will be joined for four pieces by the NSGCB. This will include Thunder and Lightning Polka, Pirates of the Caribbean, Arnold’s Cornish Dances and The Big Country by Jerome Moross.
