The prestigious saxophonist Chris Young leads a student project, in an event focused on the music of Thelonious Monk.
The legendary Birmingham Monkathon returns for a staggering 9-day event to mark the centenary of Thelonious Monk.
You can hear Monk's entire repertoire across the city at a variety of venues by a wide range of groups, projects, guest artists and soloists.
