Macbett by Eugene Ionesco
Director Chris Garner

Eugene Ionesco, playwright and pessoptimist once said.

"Shakespeare is the King of the Theatre of the Absurd. Macbeth says that the world is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. That is the pure definition of the Theatre of the Absurd-and perhaps the world. Shakespeare was the great one before us. His place was between God and despair"

With a cast of familiar characters, Ionesco's dark comedy explores the absurdity, the madness of all power brokers and those involved in wearing the suit of narcissism.
