Yu-Han Yang is a current euphonium student at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, learning with Matthew White and Philippe Schwartz. He is the principal euphonium in both RBC Brass Band and Lydbrook Band.

In 2019, he claimed first prize at the Charlton House Lyrical Brass Competition, competing against alumni from several top UK conservatoires, and secured first place at RBC's Brass Prize. As Principal Euphonium of the RBC Brass Band, he lead the euphonium and baritone section to a Best Section award at the Unibrass Competition.
