New Elements Trio was founded in September 2021 by students all studying at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Since its inception, the chamber group has been learning from Daniel Tong and Rose Redgrave. During this period, they have received instruction from many chamber groups, such as Primrose Piano Quartet, Kuss Quartet, Fidelio Trio, Heath Quartet, Linos Piano Trio, Castalian Quartet, London Bridge Trio and Trio of London. 

In November 2021, New Elements Trio participated in the Piano Trio Day held by the Piano Trio Society and received wide praise from the professors. In April 2022, they participated in the Senior Intercollegiate Piano Trio Competition held by the Piano Trio Society and gained third prize. 

From April to June 2022, New Elements Trio has held five series concerts entitled Debussy & Shostakovich. From September 2022 to February 2023, they will have four special concerts of Russian music entitled History of Russia and four special concerts of French music entitled French Impressions.
