Flautist Leila Hooton has just begun studying for her Postgraduate Certificate at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tuition of Marie-Christine Zupancic. She graduated with a first class BMus (Hons) from the Conservatoire earlier this year. During her time at RBC, Leila has participated in masterclasses with Laura McGee and Emily Beynon, studied abroad on an exchange scheme at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague and played with the CBSO Youth Orchestra. Leila is also a keen singer and folk flautist and has performed regularly with the RBC Chamber Choir and Joe Broughton’s Conservatoire Folk Ensemble.

Eduardo Alemany Ramada is a third year BMus (Hons) student at RBC. He has been advised by pianists such as Alexander Kobrin, Jacques Rouvier, Pavel Gililov, Paul Badura-Skoda, Pavel Nersessian and Dmitri Bashkirov. Eduardo has received awards in more than 20 national and international competitions including, Alion Baltic International Music Competition 2019 (Latvia), Ibiza International Piano Competition (Spain), International Piano Competition Ricard Vies (Spain), ClaviCologne Festival International Competition (Germany) and Concours Musical de France, St Maur des Fosses (France). He was awarded a scholarship from The Wagnerian Association of Madrid to participate in the Bayreuth Festival (Germany) in 2019.
Eduardo has performed in such prestigious venues as, Haus St. Raphael and Ritter-Chorus-Strabe (Aachen, Germany), Marrucino Theater (Italy), Salone Monumentale del Referrorio - Diocesan Museum (Italy), Cibeles Palace (Spain), Museo del Romanticismo (Spain) and Palau de la Musica (Valencia, Spain).
