Nina Lin is a euphonium player hailing from Taichung, Taiwan. Supported by The Boise Scholarship Foundation, she is now studying for a Master's degree at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Chris Robertson.
Whilst in the UK, Nina has made a name for herself, performing with brass bands, such as Flowers and Tredegar, and is currently the Principal Euphonium of Amersham Band. She also performs with the TLC Tuba quartet, the current Bernard Brown ensemble prize winners.
Ke Qiao (pictured) was born in China, she has studied piano since she was five years old. She graduated from the attached primary school and attached middle school of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. She has studied under Professor Lianping Zhu , Professor Chao Wu in the Piano Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music and Professor Jingjing Lin in the Piano Department of China Conservatory of Music. Now she is studying for a master's degree in performance at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where she is studying under Victor Sangiorgio and David Quigley.
Changxin Guan, Professor of the Piano Department of China Conservatory of Music, commented that "Ke Qiao has very natural musical sense and never shows even a little bit of artificial or superficial traits in expressing music". RBC piano tutor Victor Sangiorgio, said that "She is a very musically intelligent and technically capable young woman. She plays with an excellent sense of style, employs a good range of sound production."
