Laura Snowden (guitar)

Laura’s eclectic output has ranged from playing on Marvel’s Black Widow soundtrack to recording Lisa Streich’s guitar concerto with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.

Her compositions have been commissioned by Symphony Hall Birmingham and Park Lane Group, broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and published by ABRSM and Hal Leonard. She featured on Noah and the Whale frontman Charlie Fink’s solo album and has appeared with her folk group Tir Eolas at Bestival and Shakespeare’s Globe at the invitation of guitarist John Williams.

Today's programme includes Laura’s own compositions as well as her arrangements of Celtic folk music.
