Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Vocal Department presents a semi-staged version of Offenbach’s champagne cork operetta, La Vie Parisienne. First seen in 1866, this lively tale of love, betrayal and mistaken identity is as popular today as it was at its premiere.
Join Parisian dandies, Raoul de Gardefeu and his friend, Bobinet as they seek to conquer ‘La Ville Lumière’ using a little cunning and a great deal of charm. Along the way they meet a rich panoply of unlikely characters who show us Parisian society at its vibrant and startling best. An evening showcasing our exciting talent and the new state-of-the-art Concert Hall.
