In this recital, I hope to tell you 18 different love stories with these 17 pieces of different languages, different times and different styles, such as the love of young people, the love of middle-aged people, and the love of old people. Or lost love, former love, shy love and forbidden love. I hope to show love from various aspects, so that the theme of love can be expressed to the extreme in this recital.
Tingguang Li is a Chinese tenor and opera actor. He studied in China under famous Chinese vocal music educator, Professor Jiankun Shen and Professor Yijie Shi, the famous tenor. Prior to coming to RBC, he studied for his MMus at the Royal Northern College of Music with Quentin Hayes. He continued his studies with Mark Wilde at the Royal Academy of Music. In 2022, he returned to the UK to study on the APD course at RBC under Jonathan Gunthorpe, Associate Head of Vocal and Operatic Studies.
Tingguang Li has a pure tone, and strong control. He is particularly skilled in his interpretation of the works of Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini and Mozart.
