Taiwanese cellist Chian-Chian was born in 2000 and began playing the cello at the age of six. She is currently in her final year of her undergraduate degree at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where she studies with Matthew Sharp and Eduardo Vassallo. Chian-Chian has recently taken part in masterclasses by Hannah Roberts, Jian Wang, Julian Lloyd Webber and Steven Isserlis. Recent performances include the British Music Festival, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire lunchtime concert series, chamber music festival and symphony orchestra concert, as well as concerts with the Orchestra in the Shape of Pear and London Firebird Orchestra.
