CURVENew music for percussion

Following the blistering success of the 2020 and 2021 editions, the RBC Percussion and Composition Departments join forces for a third time in their annual concert of new music for solo and ensemble percussion.

This year’s new works include Fatou Sourang’s Un Mariage au Sénégal in which the musicians portray the wedding of two young people in love who dance away into the night, James Knowles’ virtuosic duo Start Small for marimba and vibes, and eight other spectacular and diverse new works.
