Featuring a specially curated line-up of nationally and internationally renowned artists, alongside profiling local and emerging talents. Imagined Isle celebrates the unique voices and sounds of folk, set against the iconic backdrop of Birmingham’s historic Town Hall.
Enjoy the all-folk extravaganza on Friday's Urban Folk Night, featuring The Conservatoire Folk Ensemble. Formed by fiddle player and arranger Joe Broughton (The Urban Folk Quartet, The Albion Band and Joss Stone), the group’s energetic live sets are a sight to behold, featuring a 15-piece horn section, three cello players, five percussionists and five electric guitarists, plus fiddles, flutes, clarinets, double bass, tuba and even a harp! They also all sing too.
Enjoy even more folk music across the whole weekend with a plethora of blazing tunes from a Family Ceilidh with Rabscallion, the legendary Fairport Convention and the compelling Jon Boden. Weekend tickets are available for just £58. Share the excitement by using the #imaginedisle hashtag.
