Mozart's C major Quintet is a radical and radiant work. Debussy and Ravel created entirely new worlds of sound for the quartet.

The last movement of Beethoven's Quintet in C major well deserves it the nickname The Storm, albeit a playful one. Walton's unique Quartet is an entirely original masterpiece of the genre.
