Ensemble Paramirabo is a new music group from Montreal interested in expanding the repertoire by commissioning emerging composers. Now in their sixth season, the ensemble has toured extensively across North America and premiered over 50 works. They are pleased to present Urban Canticle: Montreal en Musique, a concert programme featuring works by some of the most innovative compositional voices from Canada's new music capital. Works by established composers Ana Sokolović and Michael Oesterle will be presented alongside new works written for Paramirabo by Patrick Giguère, James O'Callaghan and Carmen Vanderveken.
