We are delighted to host the day where we hope you will be inspired, challenged and motivated in equal measure, where we explore:

COMMUNITY, UNITY & US!

We are keen to discuss the notion of community in all its forms and the implications of social change, inclusivity and the role of technology within this process.

How can technology be used for the force of good?

Should we be cautious in our dealings with AI?

Global, National, European and local policies impact on us all, we look to discuss how we navigate these at local level and how this is likely to impact on the community, the individual, education and society as a whole, whilst exploring and celebrating difference.

The speakers featured in the program of TEDx BirminghamCityUniversity have a distinct and interesting point to make on many of the themes indicated above and we are grateful to them for sharing this with us.

We are looking to provide a dynamic event where you can gain so much from the speakers and performers within the programme whilst networking with all in attendance over lunch.

TEDx BirminghamCityUniversity has been brought to you by a dedicated team made up of students, staff and interested partners, all who committed to supporting this project. We hope this will be a rewarding, thought-provoking and entertaining experience for all in attendance and that the legacy lives on through the uploaded talks thereafter.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day!
