John Cage was one of the most influential composers of the 20th century and his way of constantly re-thinking possibilities of sound production matter a lot to the composition department at RBC.
His work has been a great influence on how Howard Skempton, Andy Ingamells and Michael Wolters approach composition and performance. Tonight these three composers will perform some of Cage’s works including, Organ2/ASLAP, One7 and Variations I
