Join us for a free Sunday afternoon performance by viola students from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Strings Department.

Organised to coincide with Ikon’s exhibition We Thought About It A Lot, and other shared drawings  by Bill Woodrow and Richard Deacon, it will include compositions by British composers Frank Bridge, York Bowen, Benjamin Dale and William Henry Reed. There are a number of duos, music shared by two violists amidst the shared drawings.

This event is free, please consider making a donation to Arco, an innovative alliance between Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Morris Isaacson Centre for Music, Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa, which provides regular distance-learning opportunities for talented children in South Africa.
