Better late than never! Almost a year after the Cecil Aronowitz International Competition was meant to take place in November 2020, we are proud and ecstatic to present the third iteration of this magnificent celebration of young viola talent from across the globe. Two postponements, oceans of re-invention and plenty of tenacity have got us here.
The three finalists compete for, not only the prestige of winning this internationally-renowned competition, but cash prizes, a hand-crafted viola bow and viola accessories. The overall winner also receives an album recording session with Champs Hill Records.
Each round is streamed live and available to view for free from www.facebook.com/caivcf.
The final will be performed live in The Bradshaw Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on Friday 12 November at 6pm.
