Located at City Centre Campus, the Curzon Library is the largest library at BCU, supporting students in Computing, Digital Technology, Engineering and the Built Environment. It’s home to two floors of books, articles, journals and AV resources supporting you throughout your time with us.
For opening times and other current information please take a look at Coronavirus – library services news.
Keep an eye out for your library induction session and the Library’s Golden Ticket competition. This takes place in the first two weeks of term, it’s your chance to learn more about the library and win a £10 Amazon voucher.
What does the library have to offer?
A good place to start is with the library website where you can find our quick links, including our referencing guidelines. We also have a Frequently Asked Questions page where you will find answers to popular questions such as what is my library PIN?
We collated subject guides which provide a good starting point for the library resources in your subject area.
If you are studying at home, we’ve got that covered too with our Bringing the Library to You guide. It’ll help you make the most of studying away from campus.
If you have a disability or require additional needs, find details of the different types of support available on our dedicated services and support page.
Online reading lists are accessible for the modules you’ll be studying. These contain reading material recommended by your lecturers who work closely with the library.
Want to get in touch with the library? Use the ‘Chat to Us’ tab to access our 24/7 Live Chat service.
You can keep up with general library updates and news by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Please remember to check your student email inbox for messages from the library.
Finally, the Curzon Library’s most important asset is our friendly, well informed staff members. They are available to help with any questions you may have about the library. Through the provision of appropriate resources and support, our goal is to inspire all our users on their academic journey.
